Installation
Activate your AgenKit license, install the Engineering Kit into any of seven harnesses, and verify files landed where your tool expects.
Requirements
- Node.js 18+ for npx agenkit
- A supported harness (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, OpenCode, Antigravity, GitHub Copilot, or Kimi Code)
- A license key from checkout (stored locally by the CLI)
Activate once per machine
Paste the license key from your receipt. The CLI stores it locally. Run once per machine. Each machine uses one of your device seats (five by default).
Install the kit
From your project folder, run npx agenkit install engineering-kit. Auto-detection picks your harness, or pass --harness <name>.
Supported harnesses
- Claude Code: /agenkit → .claude/{agents,skills,commands}
- Cursor: /agenkit → .cursor/commands + .claude/{agents,skills}
- Codex CLI: run the AgenKit skill by name → .agents/skills + .codex/agents
- OpenCode: /agenkit → .opencode/{agents,commands,skills}
- Antigravity CLI: /agenkit → .agents/plugins/engineering
- GitHub Copilot: @agenkit → .github/{agents,skills}
- Kimi Code: /agenkit:engineering → .agenkit/<kit> · /plugins install
Kimi Code: after install, run /plugins install .agenkit/engineering-kit, start a fresh session, then /agenkit:engineering.
